This institution is a foundation which works for exploring anything that have something to do with cystic fibrosis, a disease that causes the formation of mucous in the digestive tract and lungs. This foundation is a nonprofit institution aimed to control cystic fibrosis as well finding the cure, they further want to help increasing the life quality of those who have been suffering from cystic fibrosis. The JSSA or the Jewish Social Services is an institution that work in helping people who face mental, physical, and emotional problems. For more than 118 years, the JSSA has helped a lot of families, individuals, children and the olds without considering ethnicity, religion or racial background. At the Training Institute of JSSA, educators and professionals in the field of mental health are given continous trainings and education courses. Chesapeake Shakespeare Company

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company maintains the continuity of shakespeare’s work through a variety of appearances, their goal is to work with as many groups of artists, thus the cooperation is capable of enlightening the audience. All ages are covered through the pub nights, residencies, camps, and school matinee performances. The Dwelling Place

This institution runs a program of transitional housing that assists the homeless people to regain their life and prosperity. Fisher House

This institution has a program which extends housing for families whose members served in the military. The housing programs given by the Fisher House Foundation is called the “Comfort Homes.” When one of particular family members are in sickness, getting injured or suffer from a disease, the visiting family or spouse can stay close by spending their time in that house. Almost in any Military Medical Center there is a Fisher House. In a supporting environment, all Fisher House was made to give the convenience of a house. For staying at the Fisher House, visitors are not charged, note that the Fisher House depends on private donations so it will pay back each branch of the armed forces for the fisher house. In addition to extending excellent houses, this institution also extends scholarships to childrens of military personnels, scholarships are also available for military spouses. This institution is funded by private donations, but also receives funding from the government.

Center for Adoption Support and Education

The CASE or the Center for Adoption Support and Education is a nonprofit institution with 501(c) (3) status that extends assistance to families and children of adoption. It extends services that enable children in foster care to grow into their full capacity as adult in their future life. Helping with matters related to adoptions are the subjects of its programs and many are accomplished through the counseling services of pre and post adoption. For childrens who have been in the foster care, it also extends the services of counseling.
